In the “Where are all these places? …” category:
- Where is Town Hall? 84 Chester Street – Route 121 – about ¼ mile west of the (new four-way stop at the) 102/121 intersection.
- The Police Department and Annex (Clothes Closet, Stay & Play) are here, too.
- As is the MPR (Multi-Purpose Room), which is at the west end of Town Hall. (This is where you vote….and play Pickleball!)
- Where is the Main Meeting Room? In through the Town Hall front doors, the second door on your right leads into the front hallway – the Main Meeting Room is at the end of that hallway, Room #4.
- Where is the Rangeway Meeting Room? In through the Town Hall front doors, go straight through the ‘map vestibule’ and through the door straight ahead into the back hallway. Turn to your left, pass the mailboxes, and go through the double doors – that’s the Rangeway Meeting Room, Room #19.
- FYI – the inner doors at Town Hall are locked during business hours, at the direction of the State’s Department of Labor. They’re unlocked at night when there are meetings, so just go on through.
- Where is the Library? It’s at 3 Chester Street – between Stevens Hall (#1) and the Post Office (#5).
- Where is the Fire Station? It’s at 27 Murphy Drive, right by Chester Academy, which is at 22 Murphy Drive. (The Town Fields (Nichols & French) are in this area too!)
- Where are all the Wason Pond properties: the Community Center, the covered bridge, the beach, and the Playground? ~615 Raymond Road, which is a left turn off of Route 102 (Raymond Road), about a mile and a half before you get to Raymond.
- Where is Spring Hill Farm? It’s at 96 Towle Road, which is a right turn off of Route 102 about a mile before you get to Raymond.
- Where is the Transfer Station? 50 Dump Road, which is a left turn off of Route 102 (Raymond Road) about a half mile before you get to Raymond. If you continue past the exit and entrance (in that order!) and look to your left, that’s the Highway Department’s Salt Shed.
